We are now mask optional (unless otherwise noted in an event description). As the CDC changes their safety recommendations, we do also. Here's what we're asking of you to help maintain the health and safety of our community. If any of our instructors are not feeling well, or suspect exposure to COVID, we may have a substitute instructor, cancel the class, or shift to a livestream only format.
We will still maintain physical distancing and limit class sizes. Please bring your own mat, props, and water, if possible and follow the current CDC guidelines for masks. If you have been exposed, or are feeling unwell, please don't come in for class - choose the on line option. We appreciate everyone's continuing cooperation.
For workshops and events, our guidelines based on discussion with the presenter and the style of workshop. Id different from our mask optional policy, that will be noted in the event description. Any additional instruction will be in the workshop description or special instructions.
In addition, please:
- Register and pay for class in advance, on line. Registration closes 1 hour prior to class time. If there are no "in studio" registrations, the livestream version of the class will be taught (unless it is a studio only class.) Please sign up for live stream classes at least 30 minutes in advance and sign in about 10 minutes early. If you are late signing on and class has already started, we may not be able to admit you to the session if you there are any "glitches".
- If you have classes left from "pre-COVID", please email Eva at bluemoonyoga827@gmail.com and we will let you know what your options are.
- If you need to cancel an "in studio" class, you must do so with at least 2 hours notice or forfeit your class. If you are cancelling because of COVID symptoms, please let us know.
- Please get to class 15 minutes early. The instructor/guide has the option of not allowing latecomers into the space if it will disrupt the experience.
- Be sure you are signing up for the correct version of the class - all in studio classes will have IN STUDIO in the class name. All live stream classes will have "LIVESTREAM" in the class name with a camera icon.
- Please maintain physical distancing - the instructor can guide you for mat placement. Maintain a minimum of 6 feet between yourself and others in the space at all times
- If you aren't feeling well in ANY way - sore throat, headache, runny nose, fever, digestive disorders, shortness of breath, or any other symptom, DO NOT COME TO CLASS - if you do come to class exhibiting any symptoms of an illness, you will be asked to leave and your class will not be refunded.
- Please DO NOT ask others why they are masked, or if they are vaccinated. These decisions are personal and private. Everyone should be able to make these decisions without fear of judgement.
- Bring your own mat, props and water. Take everything with you after class. Anything left in the space will be immediately discarded.
- Sign our new general waiver electronically, if you have not done so already.
- Refrain from entering any space signed as "off limits" or "staff only".
- Please cooperate with the instructors. We are trying to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible at your IN STUDIO class.
We are continuing to maintain the following practices to help keep you safe and healthy (we are believers in erring on the side of caution)
- Hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes are available.
- Limiting class size and mapping out recommended distance between mats.
- Cleansing with approved cleaners in all spaces of the studio after class and whenever additionally necessary, including, but not limited to the floors, the bathroom and any frequently touched surfaces.
- In the event a prop or blanket is used, it will be properly cleaned or laundered after each use.
- As we return to assisting, we will ask your permission. Please know that we will not be upset if you prefer not to have us on/near your mat..
